Haha Revell with a 1:72 kit, are they feeling well? 😄 Ofc, this must be an old kit.
This is one of some other kits I've always wanted to have.

It (and the Babylon 5 space station) were released in 1998. Tough to find now, even on EBay, and they want silly-bugger prices.

Is it a conversion or a full kit? I had very good experiences with Snake Models. How is this kit? Does it come with instructions of where to put hoses and cables or did you have to research that yourself?

Michael: This is a full resin kit casted of a awesome resin. This is my second kit from Aleksei and I'm very statisfied with it.
There is a little scheme how and where to "attach" the hoses (photo nr.7). I couldn't find any photos in internet because this is an unique vehicle and only one prototype was produced but never ordered by the Soviet Army.

Watching your build progress always makes me thinking of also doing these kind of stuff ... one day I will do it - do you then try a plane model? 😂

I agree with Michael and Thomas. And: the beautiful setting adds to the very appealing impression. 👍

Isn't this the same model and photos that you've posted previously?

Gorby, yes it is. Just wanted to attach photoalbum to the project and while doing this, it appeared on my wall as a new photoalbum. I may not have figured out how to do it correctly yet, sorry.

If you edit the photo album and go down to 'Linked project' you can select it from there.

Btw, I am sure I've seen a variant for the US navy, but with the tail of the typical B-24. Looking like a mix between the Liberator and the Privateer.

Treehugger, of course you're right. It was PB4Y-1 Liberator with Erco Ball turret at front, (same like Privateer) and I guess bit lenghtened fuselage, compared to B 24 Liberator.

I was pondering whether to buy that kit. So I am anxious about your build and appreciate some inside views on quality, fit, etc.

It feels like that set offers more of an orientation and instructions than actual parts. You're work so far looks great.

Thank you very much everyone 🙂
@ Michael Kohl : This kit is of quality and the instructions are detailed and very precise in order to realize the rest of the shelter. The Resin is fine and of quality. This project is attractive and can bring originality.
This kit requires a lot of work and precision to produce the many parts made of plastic cards.
In my opinion this kit is worth the investment since I'm hooked by this project. 🙂
