Beautiful modelling. Love the tree. The figures are expertly done and the T34 has wonderful details. What a great dio scene. Top drawer 🙂

Dynamic scene with very good terrain and water. - Caution: kneeling on top of the turret I would not dare to throw in a hand grenade through the open hatch ...........

Hi Gary. My winter dio was a disaster. I used plaster of paris after watching a video and it turned out a sloppy mess. Thinking of using clay over polystyrene? What do you use?

Many thanks Gorby and Neuling, yes I through it would be dangerous to throw a grenade in the open hatch and was in two minds to place him there ,could be a warning for the rest of the crew to get out?

And the other "4" I mentioned a while ago is also finished! Really a nice kit, although it would have been nice if Tamiya had designed trimmers and slats as separate items. But that is about all there is to complain about for this kit. Well recommended.

Did you use the kit green decals for the butt end or paint it? I have been waiting forever for someone to make decals without the green so I can paint my own.

bossy122: thats clever, no I use it on a white painted body and the decals are not that good, so they broke at certain places. I didnt care that much cause I wanted anyway to weather it a lot for the dio, but if you want a clean car, its better to paint...the smaller decals are ok tho. Its like a Fujimi kit, fragile suspension, so so decals, but fit relatively well. If you weather it, its great...

That is again a very high level diorama Neuling! I love the realisme in all your work! You manage to reach maximum effect in a basic idea and your paintingskills are unparallelled. I'm always excited and curious for your next work!

Yes, good help as l didn't know the Tamiya paint could be thinned with isopropanol. I have few pots that have thickened up bit to much.
So will get some in.
Thanks 👍👍

You could Not all colors thin with Isopropanol, but the most. All glittering colors have to dry more than 24hours and use some gloves. If you didnt do it, you got fingerprints on your kit. I learn that the hard way. 😅

This is so great! I am throwing my 3D printer out of the window and try learning something here 😉
I also loved the ship design and how parts move during flight.

He treehugger, i tested the legs with 2kg per leg, i hope it is enough. If its not i drill in a seperat roundsteel to Catch the weight.

There has obviously been a recent change that impacts requests for instructions. Previously I was only asked to supply instructions if a kit was in my stash. Now I am being requested to supply instructions for kits I have previously finished. As I don't retain instructions after completion, I am unable to assist. Some of the kits in question were finished years ago. I think it would be preferable to return to the earlier logic that applied.
Thank you ...
I just became aware of the earlier request to alter this logic. Apologies ....
Is it possible to limit the request to those kits in the stash or started but exclude those kits which have been completed. If not then I can just delete those kits from my completed list.

maybe an option to hide some would be a solution? you can hide the ones you no longer have. and people who keep the instructions will still be notified even if the kits are old.

I made the earlier suggestion: in hindsight, I agree that not listing Completed kits (only Stash and Started) makes more sense
