Is it possible to add a feature to mute users? There are occasionally people who aren't breaking any rules, but where I'd like the option to never see their posts and replies.

From me also a strong +1 ! So something like an anti-mates list.
I asked for the same here, but so far you can only hide threads.

I would suggest to split mute for post and replays... in my opinion, if you hide replays from somebody, conversations where he/she participated would be completely incorrect since you would be missing part of it.

@Spanjaarrd - I agree that could create confusion, but I think replies are also the area where this is most needed. One solution could be to completely hide posts by a muted person and for replies, replace their message with something like "Post from muted user"

There is now an extra option to "Hide" a specific user in the newsfeed. That said, this option should be the exception. No need to "Hide" 89 thousand mates 🙂
This will for now ONLY block their posts. (not yet replies, that is a bit trickier)

Some very neat work on display there, Bruno. Did you manage to get the doors to open and close? I can never manage to get the doors to fit properly on there Lamborghini kits.

Thanks George. Yes the doors can open and close without a problem however the mechanism is very thin and fragile. Be aware that this Pagani can't be displayed with everything closed cause the body panels do not line-up properly unless you do some serious cutaways.
As for the Lambo's, these have indeed a door problem. It's either displaying them with open doors or glue these shut during assembly.

Is there a feature in the news feed to hide or mute user posts temporarily, or throttle how many posts are seen from a user per day? For example, a lot of people use the site for inventory and project management, but this can spam the news feed when they add all of their items at once. This inevitably happens because we all have stuff to add and it's easier to do it all at once. But recently I was following a few projects on the news feed and they all got pushed out of the way by one user who was managing their project inventory and adding a lot, probably over 30 projects. No offense to the user but I was unhappy to see all the recent projects disappear from the feed.
Or is there a way to filter the news feed to track only ongoing projects, not completed ones? This is the interesting thing about Scalemates, its both for individuals to manage their work, but also for other people to view the work of others, so balancing them is an unusual problem. Thanks.

You can sort the Newsfeed on the right side. If yue dont want zu see stash activitys ore new projects just select evrything els from the section.

for Popular to show what you want, you need to configure it in your preferences (but it hides stash activities, that is correct)

and selecting in the news feed (on top) "my threads" should show ONLY those that you are already in (yours, commented etc.) Once i selected that accidentally, and i was surprised not to see anything new no matter how much i browsed 😛

Similar to what bughunter wrote above. Afaik the 'popular' filter on top of this screen shows only projects and comments. The 'all' tickers, shows a lot of other stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't realize that once Newsfeed is selected, the panel on the lower right changes to detailed sorting options. This allows for tracking of specific projects/albums based on subject.

Implemented! On top of all the existing options (show only popular posts and even the option to filter scales/topics you are interested in or focus on people you follow), there is now an extra option to "Hide" a specific user in the newsfeed. That said, this option should be the exception. No need to "Hide" 89 thousand mates 🙂
