They only had four for testing during the war.

I had to take liberties with the registration due to carrier film defects on the AML decals. They disintegrated when they hit the water. I did this one up like a realistic Eastern Front combat trials aircraft.

Weights added to the nose. Internal part where cockpit will go sprayed Vallejo Model Air intermediate blue. Engine intake internals painted Vallejo Model Air Insignia white. 🙂

@Rolf Rolf, Thanks for the kind comment. The kit is quite complex with a lot of parts and, as with some of the newer Airfix kits you have to be accurate as the fit is very tight. Other than that, so far, so good! 👍

The camouflage, nose and tail planes now done in Hataka BS Dark Green & BS Dark Sea Grey, Vallejo Model Air NATO Black, Gun Metal, Silver and Aluminium. 🙂 Next will be varnishing and decals. 🙂
