Decided to tackled this Hellcat kit that's been in my stash for a while. Main build and painting is now complete. Decals are next.

I like the paint job, watching the rest. Have the same one in the stash, so will be useful as reference. Good luck!

Amazing! I love the Hellcat, definitely want to build one soon. Did you like Eduard's version?

@Rando - It's only only Hellcat kit I've built and I really didn't enjoy the build. It's from 2008 and needed some work to make it acceptable. The pros are alignment, landing gear, robustness. The cons are lots of contour errors, sink marks, thick trailing edges, poor engine detail. Newer releases these days are infinitely better. That being said, it's a solid kit, a quick build and looks decent. Thanks for your comments.

Looks fantastic Jim. Awesome job on the paintwork and exhaust staining! 👍
I've got the Eduard "weekend" edition (F6F-5) in the stash that I've been tempted to bastardize a couple times now just recently 😄

As usual Jim: well done! 👍 Your style of photography always adds another dimension to your generally outstanding builds. Almost indistinguishable from reality

Considering it's an early Eduardargh. That's a nice finish on a difficult build, kudos. This is lurking in my stash. . . . . . . . . . . . Dun, Dun, Derrrrrr!!!

Mr James
So much skill with the airbrush to blend/fade those colours so well. Add on the the weathering skill and this is the result. Quite superb 🙂
