WIP P-47D 44-21199
Just started dabbing some paint on while listening to a podcast.
I’m using AK RC264 for the cockpit and RC263 for the tail wheel well.
…and MRP-28 for the rudder as a warm yellow yet a tad lighter than the fuselage letters.
I used Micro Kristal Klear for the gauges.
RC263 in the wheel wells. A real PITA to cover the black(ish) primer and be still some sort of vibrant
Up close I can see some flash on the parts… ?
Right… back at the bench! I installed the Eduard PE set designed for the Academy kit. It fits well and lends some 3D feel to the harness. Just to pick out the buckles and hopefully then I can assemble the fuselage.

Thank you guys! 👍 The Solvaset is drying at home. Next weekend a flat coat and picking out the gauges with gloss and then the cockpit can be assembled.
