Base coat of Tamiya black semi gloss, and the photo etch begins...
Photo etch internals complete and racing seat painted.
First attempt at seat belts, largely unenjoyable haha
Interior pretty much complete
Roll cage painted, not black but with Mr. Hobby H86 Red Madder (same as the main external colour)
Decals done
Photo etch on the body complete
Primed, sanded and 2 coats tamiya lacquer black done
Two coats of Mr. Hobby H86 Red Madder
Wheels done, Mr. Metal Color Gold MC217 and Mission Models Gloss Clear Coat
Decals done and gloss coat on

BozzerLooks good Nik. Give that shell plenty of time to dry, and you should be good for clear coat 🙂

BozzerReally, it should be dry now, but with the weather we've had, I'd wait until tomorrow. It's supposed to be a good morning? I'd personally check in real light, that you're happy with the colours, and if you are, shoot it with a coat of clear. Check that, when dry, and decals. Then clear coat again, once the decals are dry. Try to cover the body with a plastic tub or something, to prevent dust from settling on your clear coat 😉

BozzerThat's looking awesome buddy! Let that clear, dry for a few days, before doing any buffing.
It's usually at this point, I start another build.
However, work is only hours away, and weekend looks like a lifetime away 🙁
