Ste.-Marie-sur-Mer - The Butcher Shop (Impressions 4)
Mock-up test with Ford T-Model.
Closed on Wednesday afternoon.
Soon: men with wooden barrels (Miniart 38070).
I'm happy with the facade. Next is the rainfall pipe. The first painting is done ...
Coming to an end ...
I had bought the facade of the shop years ago: A special offer! Now it shall come to live. Also there was a barber shop.
MK 35 - only one resin part. Next step: Priming with gray primer colour.
First colouring - testing the new AK real color markers. Light chipping (AK Fluid).
Foam from a hardware store - a Swiss product - thickness 18 mm. Shaped with a hard pencil.
First installation. To be continued.
First colour applications.
New idea: a pig's head ... Tamiya livestock II
next step: the gutter
I have found a nice shop sign, but they sell the image motif as a poster ... so I have to design my own one. New sign - new name: G. Roger.
I have different ideas for the windows.

Yes, indeed this is planned. Some day ... I hope. The plan is to show various scenes in a little town in Normandy from 1938 (pre war) to the end of the war. The same scenery and the same buildings, but various vehicles and uniforms.
I will send a building report of the butcher shop to Modellversium in the next days.
And: Thank you for comment and likes.

I had bought a front of a butcher's shop (MK 35) years ago ... a special offer! Now I am starting to build a butcher shop - a stone house in Normandy.
