TH SCALE MODELS (Thomas Haberl)Nice result! I choosed this kit as my first plane model and I exactly know what you are saying when having fitting issues. I had the same. Is the nose that dark on the RAF scheme?

Brian HuntHi Thomas, thanks for your comment. Because I don't always go for ultimate realism, the nose may not be the correct colour for the scheme it is based on (in fact I am sure I have seen it painted black sometimes). I am often trying out new techniques or paint or just using what colours I have to hand! So, when I say 'in RAF scheme' I perhaps should have said 'loosely based on an RAF scheme'!!
