First time I have air brushed parts on the sprue 

 

Under the cockpit tub. A lot of details - I painted - NEVER TO BE SEEN! 

Cockpit tub 

Fishing weights cut in two for the front balance. Fit perfectly in between front landing gear bay. About 14 grams 

Primer applied 

Fit was pretty good - only a few places for putty 

Primer 

Under side pale blue gray 

Masking for lower Pale Blue Gray 

In the middle of upper spray painting 

Lower Pale Blue Grey done and Top Dark Olive done. Some touch ups to do then the mottling on the fuselage 

Mottling applied. Some touch ups todo 

With landing gear bottom view 

With landing gear top view 

Simple masking for black on tip of fuselage and tail 

Ready for clear coat and then decals 

 

 

White glue for canopy and used for filling in gap. When dry - painted. 

Not much weathering. Did not do the splinter camouflage. Painting instructions were as shown, though box picture showed splinter camo on wings. 

 

Ready to fly 

Would not want to see that in rear view mirror
