I had to do quite a bit of scratch-building to bring this even close to the actual subject. The kit does not come with any decals so I used aftermarket yellow stripe decal, yellow letters and numbers and black number 3. I scratch-built the head light structure up front and the all the brass adornments around the head light, down the sides, the "whistle" and spire-like structure on top, and the piping on the left side from spares. I added back walls/windows to the pilot house, and cut up match sticks for wood in the tender car. Put it on O Gauge track to complete the display.
