Thanks. It's still in weathering mode. I did the left wing yesterday and some small has to be done. This will be build parallel with the Mig-19.

Thanks Dirk. Yes it will be finished by then. 🙂 I've put alot of work into it and a whole Tamiya tape. 🙂 It's still in a first stage of weathering. I also love the TT sheme instead of the bouring standard sheme.

I really like the rust/dirt on the edges of the panels. Just the right amount for a plane that's that old. 👍 and that paint scheme: wow!

The chipping effect ( I think it is done with a sponche) looks very convincing.
I like the idea of gradually wearing out of soiled surfaces.
The exhaust stain is also nice done. Very subtle and in the manner of the real thing, with the airflow in mind.
And the chipping effects on the yellow stripe is great too!

@Dirk
The chipping is painted by brush. When I saw the picture of a very weathered TT.5 I was stunned to see the heavily weathered look and the large exhaust staining.

Hi Michel,
I know a good workshop which is well versed with such rusty metal sheets.😉
It looks very realistic.
