Wings, post-Aero-skin removal, mid-trailing-edge correction. One of the ailerons, pre-Aero-skin removal.

The kit had been started, and was relatively complete, except the engine was missing. I'll use this white-metal, Curtiss JN-4H/JNS-1 engine (which was quite similar), from an Olimp kit I won in the model club raffle.

The Jenny engine is a bit too big for the mounts (the rear two cylinders should be to the right of the spruce beam). This will require some fixing.

After much drilling and filing, the retrofitted Jenny engine fits in the more or less correct position on the bracket.

Okey... The kit wings didn't fare too well in clean-up (removal of incorrect trailing edge resulted in some breaking of the spar tips), so now the kit wing makes a fine template to build a new scratch wing.
