Thanks, just given it a base coat - it helps that the plastic colour isn't too far off the final colour so I didn't bother to prime it.

Thanks guys. I'm pleased with the wash - it's the first time I've used the Humbrol enamel washes; they're a perfect consistency and don't smell too bad either! The base coat is Tamiya acrylic, from a rattle can.
