That looks excellent. I have this kit so I know how small that really is; you should post a pic of the model with a paint jar so we can see how tiny it is. Really amazing work at such a small scale 👍

Ok, I will try to do that 🙂 but yeah, it is very small, I guess army version will be even more fiddly to make because of ammo belts, MG's on wings, rockets and so on.

I bought this kit just because it really is my theme - small and nice plane. In the kit you got three types of this aircraft (usual racing version, army version and a hydroplan), small fret of PE parts and various types of decals, and a piece of film for windows. For the first model I choosed to make racing version from 1937th race Moscow-Sevastopol-Moscow. In the cockpit I added an instrument panel, joystick, seat and opened doors. On the engine I added a few bits and bobs, like injector needles and some cooling lines on the cylinders. I painted it with usual spray can and some Humbrol enal paints. For the metallic chipping effect I used Mr.Color aluminium paint.
