Is it magic tracks (individual track links)? I'm not experienced either, with only 4-5 built (not counting those as a child) 🙂

Thanks. May be would be better to make fixing for wires of scotch or masking tape instead of plastic. Now it seems a bit oversized.

Or try to cut out a small piece from thin lead foil. Maybe regular aluminum foil will do.

Very nice Olena. I am in single figures for the number of kits I have built as well. I like the sag of the tracks that you put together and the wiring for the lights and photo etch mesh are nice bits of detail that add a lot. 👍

Thank you all guys for nice words, i really appreciate it. Soon there will be some updates, as i'm approaching to painting stage (that i kinda scare of🙂). But before that i decide to remake fixing as Patrik suggested (thank you, Patrik). By the way, i kinda like magick tracks, although it take times to clean ejector pin marks.

Good work putting the tracks together, if I try they will fall apart, or problems installing them, problems painting them etc.🙂 but I will try Dragons DS tracks on a wehicle with side skirts so I dont have to worry about the sag as it won't be visible.

I have some trick) Put a piece of building or masking tape on cutting mat, assemble all needed tracks on that piece in one caterpillar, then cut thin stripes of tape and stick it to inner side of tracks so that stripes don't cover a holes for driving wheels in tracks. Then i use tamiya extra thin cement to glue tracks and i have some time to put tracks on wheels and shape it the way i need. Stripes of tape keep tracks together but let me easy bend it around wheels and make a sag. I'll try to post some pictures of that process if interested.

Well... Yes) I'll try to upload some photos after weekend. I'm done with base painting and now i'm trying to do gloss varnish layer for decals, but not much success with that. Still need to work out how to dilute varnish properly or may be it's wrong pressure or may be something wrong with my hands), but now varnish layer is... well, not smooth, i must say. But, anyway, work is going on)

Hi Olena, OK, it is important to go ahead and make experiences. Just last night I made a mess with decals on my Sd.Kfz.251/9: after installation, they look too glossy, then I applied gloss varnish but I'm not happy with result...Need more practice 🙂

Well done - I think you can "play" a little bit more with the colors - 🙂

Very well done! I agree with Mike, some additional detail painting will this one make a piece of art.

Well Olena! This model looks fine from every angle! You did an excellent job on this one. My comment was only a recommendation, but nothing else. 🙂 Very well done !
