interesting modulation going on, it looks like it is out of a video game, almost not like a photo but more like a painting of a tank, image 3 especially, I like it 🙂

Thanks guys. The washes, filters, chipping etc. will blend things together.
And there was no really detail on this kit so I had to do the whole visual thing with the painting. 🙂

That's what I'm talking about! 😄 Great work so far, Gábor!! This (image 3 to image 4) clearly shows the benefits of doing a bit of color modulation. Very nice! 👍

Something is not right and I just can't figure out what to do.
I'm open to suggestions.

Looks like too much vanish...ouch. i don't think there is the super solution to this, as I faced the problem I had small success by washing it away with turpentine and another darker wash...

Thanks guys.
I think I will do the rusting and streaking stuff and we will see how it turns out.
But one thing bothers me what my girlfriend said... She said with this level of weathering, tha tanks should have dents, broken parts etc. and it is too late for that.🙂

perhaps a hot knife or an old soldering iron push in here and there gently, subtle bendings on the grab rails etc. might need a couple of touch ups here and there 🙂

I don't think I want to repaint the majority of the tank. 😄
I will keep it this way and consider it a test-practise-tank.

Album info
No detailing no nothing just a lot of weathering and lots of dirt/mud 🙂
