I wonder why she did`nt like the Idea, same problem almost everywhere, total lack of sense of imagination as far as wifes are concerned ! 😉
Beautiful " Spit " though .

Nice spit Alistair. But....YOU NEVER PUT A SPITFIRE IN THE GARAGE Maybe an idea. You can put your wife in the garage. 🙂

very pretty bird, well done!
I guess I'm the lucky one, I build mostly 1/32 and my wife makes room to display my stuff, I even have my own room...sorry guys.
I'd put that model where it could be seen, visitors looking at it will be in awe!

Someone in our club was saying they were going to look into the Weekend Kit. Did the build go pretty much as you expected? I like the look of it and I like to see the Spitfire presented with the open cockpit as well. Good job!

The build was easy enough, i was a wee bit dissapointed at there only being a basic decal set with all smaller decals missing. I did it in between the marathon of the eduard BF110-G4 profipack since i was having difficulty with my eyesight and the tiny PE parts. I am just getting used to airbrushing--i am not a high level modeller although i built hundreds of Airfix models between age 6 and 16 but that was a very long time ago.
