Nice start. Can you tell us what you think of the kit so far?
Hope you are able to repair/replace the struts!

Overall a nice little kit, just the issue with the struts.
Want to do the rigging, but my Clearfix has dried up, and the LHS is out of stock.

I hope you manage to fix it soon. It's gonna look good after you finish it 🙂

Oh, how sweet to hear one of these overhead these days, and it's even nicer to see on here on SM.
It looks so delicate and frail mate, and I too hope you can effect some repairs, as it will be a stunning little bird in the end. 🙂

Patience (and glue!) have the struts repaired. Rigging started, but I think I will skip the wires on the fuselage between the wing mounts. Too fiddly and not a lot of room...

Having issues getting a nice paint finish on the engine cowling. One more round of sand and paint.
Finally finished the flying wire rigging. Now just have to see about the control surface wires at the back....

What are you using for the rigging Gordon? It's looking good, if anyone has any tips regarding set up of struts on old planes I'd like to hear them. Can't help but think I've fudged them so far. 🙂

Arrrgggghhh! Broke a couple more struts! Decided to just remove the top wing. I have the old tool Tiger in my stash so am going to see if I can use the struts out of that one...
