nice, really nice... you could add some antenna wire (drill a little hole in the tail, glue in some fishing wire (0.08mm) with cyano, then attach it to the pylon behind the cockpit and lead it into the hull... and a little dust on the tyres.. but otherwise: stunning job...

Thanks guys.
@Bart: i´m with you about the tyres, but i don´t know if the Shangri-La had an antenna wire. I´ve searched the net for reference photos with a wire but couldn´t find one. I´ve also read that this antenna was only for the radio. But, if you have evidence ...i will add it😉

That looks really good. You have not lost your modeling skills after all these years. It is never too late; I just finished my first airplane kit after 30 years.

Hey Folks,
this is my 2nd build after 20 years and i´m very enthusiastic about this Tamiya-kit.
I´ve tried some various techniques at this one like no preshading but lighter color for panels. And, have to say, i like it much more than preshading. I´ve also used grime from a torch to display the exhaust plume.
Hope, you like it.
Greetings from Germany
