Thanks guys for the kind words!
This is my first Hasegawa kit, and I must say this one went together so well that I used NO putty at all. It is really nice to build a kit that goes together so well. A nice change of pace from the Italeri, old Monogram/Revell, and MiniHobby kits I have built before this one.
This kit was built OOB with the exception of the Furball Aero Decals from the Phantom Gunfighters II sheet. These decals are superb, and were a joy to work with. Used only future for setting and that worked wonderfully with these.
I used 5 different brands of paint on this kit. Tamiya white primer, lifecolor light gray and dark green, Gunze Aqueous medium green, Vallejo model air tan, and alclad II aluminum and jet exhaust.
I am happy with how the project turned out. I made some mistakes, left some things "good enough", and some things did not turn out as I had intended, but overall I am happy with my progress as my 5th model.
Next up is the 1/48 Revell F/A-18F, VF-2 Bounty Hunters markings. Just cleaned up my work area and hope to get it started today or tomorrow!

Great work, you have managed a clean paintjob but that is subtle weathered at same time, looks great, congrats

Thanks Scott! This is my 2nd attempt at soft edge camo, and I feel I have made much progress from my first try on the A-10 I built. The weathering effect was achieved by using semi-random pre-shading and using heavily thinned paint built up in light layers, aliowing some areas to have heavier color than others.
