Hi Julian. The fit is generally quite good. I've used some filler in the nose tip and where the air intakes meet the fuselage, but nothing to extreme.

Thanks Hanno! The X-29 was built to evaluate the potential of forward swept wing configuration. I remember other innovations were also included in the project (fly-by-wire, 3 part control surface with the cannard, wing and flaps right next to the exhaust nozzle and other that I do not remember).
