Revel S-100 Schnellboat
The White ensign etched railings were damaged by "helpful" friends while I was out of town. Used the Revel railings since buying a whole new photo etch set was not an option.
opened ports for white Ensign detail set
scratch build mine rails as seen on Lang after surrender.
glued in place and primed
added pipe and valve detail at launchers
small amount of prep for painting
Still haven't decided which kannon.
Will weather after installed
Vallejo acrylics. hull 70993 White Grey; Deck 70869 Basalt Grey: Waterline 70862 Black Grey. Had the white Ensign enamels but found I'm highly susceptible to high VOC paints.
Thanks to snapdragonxxx on Fine Scale model forums for Vallejo acrylic colors..
Painted with Vallejo paints, Wood then Leather followed by light brush Sand. Washed with deck color.

Michel WingardUsed a brass pipe reducer to get close to true interior diameter. Thickness is terrible though. A lathe would allow a better fit but I have no access so settled for interior dia..
