To be fair, I started at 8pm Friday night, built until midnight. Then worked from 10am until about 10pm on Saturday. I do think the cockpit came out pretty well. Thanks all for the compliments.

It's not a bad kit. It has more flash than I would like, especially from a "new tool" kit, but not bad.

I don't believe it is. I understand that it is a new tool Italeri mold. And, the quality is definitely not Tamiya.

Tamiya reboxed the Italeri kit. i have the "tamiya" and it said clearly "aircraft parts are product of Italeri".
Tamiya added some decals, bomb cart. but everything else is Italeri.

Spanjaard, would you be interested in selling me a part out of yours? I'll pay enough for you to get a replacement from Tamiya/Italeri. I already have another Italeri kit waiting on parts from Italy (12 weeks), and don't want to wait that long for this one.

sorry, but i rather not. I can suggest to buy it from gundam in Japan. i got the tamiya one for the price of the italeri. then maybe you can sell the parts you do not need.

Thanks anyway. I'll just order the replacement parts.

Looks great so far. Too bad you had to cover up the engine.

Derek Jordan
Roy, I agree. Although, if the engine was to be left exposed it needed much more work. I did that much just to assure that I got enough of it painted that could be seen.

Thanks everyone! She's getting close, but will be put on hold while Italeri decides to send the canopy.

Airfix is releasing a new tool one later this year, from what I have seen, it is going to be nice. I believe it is now aviabale for pre-order from Airfix USA.

Clifford, that's interesting news. But, it's too late for me. I can't imagine I'll be doing a Stuka again anytime soon. 🙂
