I'm not a big sukhoi-fan, not sure if this kit's shape is right or not, but the nose section is definitely look better than Academy.

Nice, gonna be following this too! I think it is funny, you just finished an F-15E, I just started an F-15E. You just started a Flanker, I just finished a Flanker. LOL
So what markings are you going to use? So many cool camo schemes out there for Flankers.

Your flanker is superb! I haven't decide which scheme yet, any recommendation?

Thanks Bob!
My favorite Flanker schemes are Ukrainian. The Splinter camo and the Digital Camo both look really awesome, but a bit difficult. There are masks for both available though should you choose to go that route. Also, Indonesian flankers have a cool two tone gray camo. Then, of course, there is always the good ol' Russian light blue camo, which is always nice and can allow you to go crazy with weathering, as they sometimes can really look worn.
Thanks Bob!

Ukrainian's splinter camo is one of my favorite! but this time I want to make this flanker really worn and faded, I'll check others, too! Thanks, Michael. 🙂

don't they have anything else to do, we were once intercepted by 3 Russian 27's on our way to Moscow DME, the captain faulted the set up from the transponder

Accuracy: Also some problem in this kit as Trumpy/Hobbyboss always, LOL
1.the angle/bulge of canopy might be higher, but it's not obvious for me, I choose to ignore it.
2.Spine, yes the shape and the angle of spine is a big flaw IMO, Hasegawa and Zeveda made the right shape in 72th. I pre-shade the spine parts darker to make it LOOK better(maybe)
3.The angle of wingtip and all pylons are all different, wingtip pylons point-up when parking, outer and inner pylons are all different angles, I fix it make all pylons in parallel line and all point-down.
4. Wheel-bays are wrong shape, but it's not obvious after finished, so I ignore it again, how lazy I'm mates.
Conclusion: Reasonable price and nice detail, also fits well, definitely recommend this kit even not a flanker fan, looking forward to Hobbyboss Su-34 in same scale, hope you guys enjoy my build. Cheers.

It Looks like you are not only gifted at building models but also at taking pictures! This perfectly built and painted Flanker Comes across even nicer with These great photos! Back to the model though. It is a real eyecatcher with lots of character! I really like the faded paint. How did you accomplish the faded decals? Anyway, great stuff and congrats on this build!
