Thx gentlemen! @Dutch I've seen those updates and they look mighty fine (as well as their prices 😉 ). I couldn't wait to build this one, so I altered the exhausts myself with a bit of scratchbuilding.

Hi Tim, I used rattlecan Tamiya Gunship grey TS48 for the whole kit, radome and sensorbays were done with Revell Aquacolor Panzergrau. Hope it works out for you as well!

Flynn, I admire your grit and skill. The afterburners look awesome. And you are most probably right about the price versus the benefit of the added resin details. I am not a master builder, just better than average, so why waste the money on something I am building for my own enjoyment and will never enter into a contest? Hmmm. You've got me thinking. Great! This is the new one from Revell/Monogram, the other (Airfix) will be converted to a B-1A prototype later on next year, that's why I disassembled it. All scratch of course.
