The spitfire 22/24 was the last Spifire built with 260 coming out of the assembly lines and all around bubble canopy. The Royal Egyptian Air Force bought some and it was in service till 1959.
I decided to build my uncles aircraft, wing leader ALI SHARMY which he flew during 1956 war and made four attacks on Israeli positions during the war. Luckily, Matchbox had the decals for it but I had to use other decals as Matchbox's decals lacked the crescent and 3 stars.
I used Master Caster cockpit detail set and Quickboost seat Airscale decals were used for the instrument panel.
Unfortunately, Mastercaster detail set was under scale so i used the floor, side panels the seat which fitted properly. The instrument panel was made in 2 part, First, the kit one was sanded flat
