Absolutely fantastic! The exhaust heat staining is outstanding. This really makes me want to build mine. What paints did you use? Any Aftermarket?

Thanks Michael. I made my own mix using Gunze paints. I just added an Aires Seat, GWH missiles and Brassin pylons.

Great painting, beautiful model. Romain, could you tell something more about those mixes of Gunze paints?

hi.
I painted the Su-33 with Gunze acrylic paints:
light blue : H45+H308+X2
blue : H45+H5
dark blue: H328+H45 + a drop of emerald green
But after demasking, the colors were not as I have expected.
So I added a filter on each color separately using vallejo acrylic paints.
I used a very bright turquoise blue for example on the middle blue to make it brighter.
I would recommend to use H15 and/or H25 blues instead of H45, because they are brighter.
Hope it helps
