Thanks lads. I actually did this years ago and stuck it to the ceiling to get it out of the way. I took it down today and wiped the dust off. I thought to move it to another location, but don't have the room, so up on the ceiling it goes for time being. I remember having a set of Ron's Resin Sgt Fletcher refueling pods, but must have traded them off to someone Down Under before I built it.

Pity she's a ceiling hanger, would look great in a glass cabinet protected from the dust.

Great one (literally) 🙂 Dust must have protected the white colour from yellowing😉

Dutch, really nice work, I've been thinking of doing a KC-135, a KC-97 and a KC-176 for a tar-mac presentation of refuelers past and presents. I Figured I would keep it the scale of 1:144 add a few fighters and a hanger and wha-la another diorama done, only problem is how to explain it to my wife

Mike, I had planned on making this a tanker using the Ron's Resins Sergeant Fletcher IFR pods, but misplaced them during the build and decaling. So it ended up a transport. Finished it circa 2007. Finally found the pods last year and traded them to a good friend down under. Good luck with your 1:144 diorama. R/ Dutch

I totally missed this build Dutch, great job! I built one in 1/100 scale about 20 years ago in the same scheme using the Nitto kit, it was recently 'retired'. I will be replacing that build with a 1/72 version soem time to go with my 1/72 tanker version.
