Looks good so far.
I'm doing this kit at the moment. Excellent kit, but quite complex (for me anyway). I was fitting the engine this morning – very frustrating experience. Oddly enough the fit was excellent on everything except the glazing under the nose – it was about 0.5mm too wide.

Gorby, I have had trouble with the wing fillets on the front. Had to sand and re rivet ! Hope rest goes smoother

That's odd, I don't remember problems in that area (but my memory isn't good). The fit of some of the parts is ridiculously tight – on the pilots seat, I had to cut off the part of the PE seatbelt that hangs over the left side, because the seat wouldn't fit in the cockpit. So the thickness of the PE (0.15mm) threw out the fit! Or it could just have been me screwing it up.
I'm very interested to see how a good modeller copes with this kit, I think I'll stick to simpler kits in the future.

Oh that does sound tight I'm quite a haphazard builder so hopefully it will go well.. Got some progress done last night bit no photos as yet.

Some progress on the wings. I wouldn't usually fit the undercarriage at this stage. Just following instructions. I'm nearing the point of working on the fuselage (hooray) . Things to note. Quickboost intakes on and looking good. Need to soften the gaping panel line on the front of the wings. Grey used was hataka raf medium sea grey from the raf helicopter set.

I forgot the wing leading edge parts. That was an awful fit on mine as well and took a lot of work to look even remotely acceptable.

gorby one was ok the other was crap. Was it us ? Or the kit bits. I was a bit annoyed because I had to rely on one of my weaknesses.. (scribing and rivets) lol

One was definitely worse than the other, but neither look great, even after surgery.
