![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/0/2/6/541026-30654-27-720.jpg)
Starting with the minimum parts in place. Had to attach the wing so that the lower engine cover can be glued
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/0/2/3/541023-30654-17-720.jpg)
Clearly this wasn't made for the Trumpeter kit, so trim away some bits and use the "leftover"
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/0/2/4/541024-30654-47-720.jpg)

Making the hole for the lower engine cover

In place + miliput
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/0/2/5/541025-30654-38-720.jpg)
Another thing to deal with. Nice step
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/0/2/8/541028-30654-39-720.jpg)
Making progress. The lower front section where the blue pin is is a very weak structural point.

Original wheel well detail sanded away
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/0/3/4/541034-30654-99-720.jpg)
Minor surgery to make room for the PE wheel wells
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/0/3/0/541030-30654-53-720.jpg)
All in place - looking good 🙂

Yeah the resin kit was made for the Revel kit. I was like "how much different could this be?". Quite a bit 🙂 But I am glad I figured out how to fit it to the Trumpeter kit.I was also surprised how much I enjoyed it. May be, because I have quite strong motivation with this...

I always wondered how resin parts go with kits other than the ones they were designed for (never tried it). I am glad to see you getting into resin, brass etc 👍 👍 👍. Personally, I enjoy the building phase of modeling the most.

For comparison I am building another Avia S-199 from the Revell kit 🙂 The resin parts fit much better. Not great, but better 🙂
I am into painting the most. But, I want to improve my building skills - mostly inspired by the work of some people here.
