EA-18G Growler 1/32 scale TRUMPETER

OK , i received this box as a christmas present. The F16 is still on the bench, its only airbush work that i have to do. This means its time to make a start at this plane/kit. Its me 4 project in this hobby. Yes yes , this is all still new for me, I don't know the trumpeter kits but i make the first part and its a lot off putty that i had to use to bring it to a good end. I believe Tamiya is better .. 😉 I will make the version thats on the box, and i build this plane OOB, no extra's. Fingers crossed and i hope this wil be a nice build.

The F16 is ready , now i can go further with this plane , alot off weapons to prepare , sanding , putty , sanding etc etc ..

I followed your F-16 from a distance. Very well done and hard to believe this Growler is only your fourth project in this hobby. I will watch this with great interest! Let's see if you can pull it off in the same quality as that F-16! 🙂 One question though; what are you intending to to with all those weapons? The Growler's 'weapons' are its jamming pods.

Hey Patrick , yes this GROWLER is me 3 scale plane in this hobby .. 😉 I build 1 tank and 1 heli and 1 1/48 F16 but that was not a great succes, i quit with this hobby and then i buy al new stuff to start again with the 1/32 F16, this week i will make the final foto's from this F16, me friend will make those foto's. This GROWLER is me 5 project The weapons are not specially for this Growler , i bought this KIT to put some weapons on a diorama, i don't know if i can use some weapons from this trumpeter weapons kit. Can i use some weapons from this weapon KIT for this GROWLER KIT ? or can I ? When not , i have to start another project for this weapon KIT, this KIT was a great test for me , working with putty , learning engrave lines etc etc . I'm NEW , i'm sorry .. 😉

Don't be sorry! You're doing great! That F-16 is awesome and I hope your friend brings out all the best with that photo shoot. 👍 The Growler's main task is disrupting communications and jamming radar systems before the actual bomb carrying airplanes go in for the attack. For that reason, the offensive armament is limited to HARM and AMRAAM missiles. Even the Super Hornet's original gun is deleted in favor of the jamming equipment. I think, going at your rate and seeing your building quality, we will see those weapons pop up on other builds! 🙂 Enjoy this marvelous hobby and good luck with the learning curve on this beast!

I was busy today with the decals , but , i think those decals are from a bad quality ... the color is not even , there are white/grey spots in the decal film. I used the same varnish i used for me F16 , but , its not sutch a nice result. i hope the pictures from the decal sheets can say you more ? I have looked to me left overs from the TAMIYA KIT and you can see the difference from those decals. It looked for me that the carrier film is let loose from the inkt on alot off area's from the decals. Maybey i have to go to the Euro Model Expo in Lingen this month , and buy me some new decals for this kit ... 😉 I have to wait with putting on those decals .... i hope you can inform me , maybey i'm wrong ..
