A few hours into the build. Most of the time was spent cleaning up the major parts!

Hull & main superstructure parts mostly done. Had to do quite a bit of cutting, sanding & reinforcing to minimize the use of putty!

Nice big sinkhole in the bow!

Couple of sinkholes Amidships Port side.

Fixing up the bridge area a little bit.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/8/8/6/571886-16253-94-720.jpg)
Taking care of sinkholes - both sides!

Worked on the hull last night. I really need to get more light in my work area. Missed some minor sink marks and didn't put enough Tamiya Surfacer on some areas.

I remember, that one of my grandfathers had this kit build in the 1970s. This man was the one, who offer me this great hobby!

Old-school kit but not bad for a 1967 tooling. Includes different parts to make it's later modified sister ships.
