Hiller YH-32 Hornet WIP
cute little thing 🙂
dry fit - looking good so far
Hopefully the "undercarriage" will hold the weight of the finished model
painting in progress
control panel with a little bit of PE and decals (red squares on both sides)
control column in place
adding seatbelts in progress.
rear portion of the fuselage in place and drying
small adjustments to turbine PE parts to be more 3D instead of just flat part sitting on the top and the bottom of the turbine
central mechanism almost done
so much small and fiddly parts in one place 🙂
top parts holding the main rotor in place
and dry-fit main parts to get the impresion how it will look at the end 🙂
rear rotor blade assembled and ready for paint
two more PE parts need to go on top of the rotor blades
support wire underneath the main glass
main fuselage primed and painted MRP-234 Olive drab
and all subassemblies also primed and painted
the only thing that is missing in this stage - yellow strips for fuselage and tail rotor
yellow strip on main tail section
ready for decals
Decalling finished!
Decals were quite thin so I had to be careful moving the decal around
overall - decals were really good. Very satisfied with the result
few decals (do not stand) on the fuel tank were not mentioned in the instructions but they were present on the pictures
the last decal made me laught. If you take a closer look, it literally says "Could not read this text unfortunetaly" 😄
Done!
Tiny, little hornet 🙂
