Thanks Clifford, Augie, and Chris!
That shark mouth almost disintegrated, but I couldn't pass up using it. I'm still thinking of a bit more weathering, but not much...

The graceful lines of the P-51 are completely destroyed, an ugly duckling....I love it!

I should have made a cast of this before building it.
Bart - If I see one while attending local shows I'll pick it up as long as they aren't asking some insane amount of $$ 🙂

I would not do more weathering, once you are over the top, yuo can only descent and there is no way back to the oriinal optimal state

That is quite the unusual subject, but very cool nonetheless! Very nice job on this too, the camo looks great!

I'm not an airplane guy, I just drop my jaw in awe at the appropriate times, which is like 98% of the time. But what makes this plane "unusual" or "something you don't see often"? Just curious. Again, awesome!

When you look to modelforums or facebook, there are general modeltopics, and then those you only encounter once in a while... An example with tanks: a t-34/85 or a tiger is common, a Syrian T-34/122 ([img1]) is unusual or you don't see this one often

Thanks for all the kind words mates!
Chris - Taking a perfectly nice kit and hitting it with an ugly stick is an example of unusual.

Ok, I've got it, Thanks for the clarification... Nothing, I'd know about 😛 I'm a civilian modeller. I'll just continue to drop my jaw in awe... 😄
