I have like over 20 projects I have started on, and somehow I get frustrated or want to do something else and start something new before I have finished the others. I have a long table that i made, supposed to be the diorama base for the Leopard rail gun but since I haven't the saw I need to cut the legs for it, it is sitting on top of other furniture with the rail gun and about 8 other models in different stages of being finished. I have to repaint the top of the Delorean though, somehow I got something on it that wont come off, so time to Mask off all the work I've done already. While I am painting, Ill paint the Delorean, Hemi, Mig 15, and maybe the F 86. Like to try to spray as much as possible at one time.

It is just about finished, it is really hard to find good pictures on the internet of the real thing though, some of the pictures I found were from people that had changed their Deloreans to look like the one from he movie. I did use the film to get some of the details, underneath I guessed most of it, suspension semi gloss black, I think the triangle piece underneath is the fuel tank, only thing their that seemed big enough to be one. A few of the pieces in the back i guessed at, but some of it looks like it is in the wrong place, and their seems to be some parts that are missing too, just comparing to what is seen int he first film. I am so far not so impressed with kits from Polar Lights. Hmmm, Polar Lights, Aurora, is their a connection there.

What silver paint have you used Christopher. ? As The 'buffing' metalizer from Testors would be just right for the stainless steel finish it had. 👍

I know, just hard to get here, and if I can it is expensive, I just used Revell Eisen spray, probably would have been bettor of with Tamiya though, they are really the only choices I have for spray cans. I like Model Master colors but they are hard to get.

There is o e museum in LA that has one of original BTF Delorean restored. There are some good pictures of it and some videos in YouTube even. If you can not find them li et know, I can try to get the links for you Desktop still not setup I new home.....)
