![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/1/3/0/649130-26441-95-720.jpg)
Start with the box.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/1/3/3/649133-26441-49-720.jpg)
The sprues look really crisp.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/1/3/1/649131-26441-93-720.jpg)
Some of the main parts removed.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/1/3/4/649134-26441-43-720.jpg)
Getting ready for some paint.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/3/7/2/649372-26441-94-720.jpg)
Ok... let’s start with some Tamiya XF-71 Cockpit Green...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/5/8/5/649585-26441-13-720.jpg)
Added a few extra bits.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/2/3/6/651236-26441-58-720.jpg)
Now there’s a familiar box... fourth time I’ve seen it, but probably not my last.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/2/3/4/651234-26441-88-720.jpg)
Yep... seen those sprues before too.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/2/3/5/651235-26441-49-720.jpg)
Cut out and sort the bits.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/2/3/3/651233-26441-67-720.jpg)
Everybody ready for painting.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/2/5/7/651257-26441-42-720.jpg)
All painted up. I made sure the colour was different enough this time.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/7/7/0/651770-26441-18-720.jpg)
Wheels... treads...
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/2/3/652523-26441-64-720.jpg)
After a wash, it always brings out the details. Just a few touch ups to do.

Ok... so I glued some bits together... now what? Where's the cockpit? 🙂

Actually, this is an undercoat. Most of the Egyptian or Syrian T-62's seem to have a light green paint colour showing underneath of the Desert camouflage. So my plan is to use the hairspray chipping technique, so we'll see how that works.

And now way you can manage the area rule with this design. Totally sub sonic.

I can see this now....A propeller on the end of the barrel! Maybe it will help when it does a barrel roll!?

That's for the next 1/72 project... the F-8E Crusaders... This one I"m just going to bend a bit of wire...😉

So... I painted the T-62 green... applied a coat of Future, then hairspray, and then a coat of "Desert Yellow" and started chipping a bit. After about 5 minutes, I had a wet, green and yellow tank that looked like it had been attacked by a toothpick.
So now I'm painting it two shades of Desert yellow and building a Jeep too...

Sorry Spanjaard, I decided to hide my shame in anonymity and didn't document it. I've done chipping on planes and it's gone well enough. I think I just forgot the first rule of the hairspray chipping technique... less is more. ;
Thanks Bryn... enjoy the show.😉

Yep. That's three... well, four if you count the one I modified beyond recognition into the three-wheeler from Totoro. But who's keeping track... besides Alex.😉.

Paint on the tracks... just makes me think more and more that I don't know what I should be doing...

It's amazing how much a panel wash makes a dull paint job pop. I'm not completely happy with the outcome so far, but I'll chalk it up as a learning experience. Still a bit more to do, so I still have time to completely screw it up. 🙂

All right, I'm calling this one done. I might've been able to do more with the treads... but we'll save that for another adventure.
