Godzilla Build
Starting with the feet.
Dry-fit seam on knee.
Inside of lower jaw. The large (knock-out?) pin needs to be removed.
Four-part head with two-part lower jaw.
Result of the first session. Fit is generally pretty good.
Second session.
Dry fit of the left hand. I believe the hands will have some monstorious gaps after gluing.
Legs coming together.
Head, torso and upper tail.
Arms and hands. The webbing between the thumb and forefinger mostly removed.
Started filling seams with stretched sprue.
Preliminary filling of the gap between head and torso.
He is getting BIG!
Lower jaw and lower tail dry fitted.
Orginal ear moulding on the left and the reshaped one on the right.
New fangs in progress. Upper left is the orginal.
Second try of the new upper fangs and the lower jaw.
Better. Maybe a little long...
Drilled out the nostrils.
Vallejo Plastic Putty on the major seams.
Dorsal spine thingys are keyed and the mounting holes are numbered. Fit ranges from good to not-so-good.
After some thought, I chose Tamiya acrylic XF-11, Imperial Japanese Navy Green.
I think the colour works well.
The bottle is the ten milliliter size and I used the whole bottle.

Wow, I didn't realize that kit had such bad seams and fit - it will take a lot of sculpting to hide them due to the skin texture. I think the color you used looks good. Are you planning to accentuate it with shadows and highlights? Big kit!
