Eduard Zoom interior detail set all in place

Fuselage halves together. They were quite a tight fit on the 'spars'

Primed with Ammo Mig One Shot
Little blemish to sort out
The seam on the rear fuselage needed a bit of attention as the primer showed it up a bit
Ready for repriming
All areas fixed and reprimed. Masked up for Vallejo Nato black on the sides and underside
Nato black applied. Looks great
Unmasked. One Shot black primer on top and Vallejo Nato black on the sides and underside
Now all the Nato black parts were masked ready for spraying the upper surfaces
A quick marble coat
I did the brown free hand
...then masked it ready for the green
Green on.
Camo unmasked. Just needs some touch ups here and there
I left tape on the top and bottom of the fins to protect the paint
Touch up on the wing
Decided to try this combo for glossing after a few people recommended it to me, and after the problems I had with Ammo Mig Glossy Lucky Varnish on the Wyvern I was ready to try something different
Gloss coat down. Took a bit of practice to get it good but it's so much better
Like a bloody mirror, that fin!
Decals starting to go on. They're very nice quality. The Tamiya X-22 and Mr Color Leveling Thinner combo wasn't harmed at all by the Microsol like the Ammo Mig stuff was

Attaching and 'rigging' the flaps
Pin washes were done using Ammo Mig Stone Grey for Black and Neutral Brown
Exhaust staining applied with weathering powders
Finally, some Ammo Mig matt varnish is applied

Chaz GordonVery nice. If you're finding issues with Microsol, I've had no issues at all with Vallejo clears or colours. Although I don't gloss under decals if I'm using Microset, I apply decals over whatever the second varnish coat happens to be
