I was hoping for an easy OOB build with this kit, but in the end, I made a few modifications and additions. I modified the front fork pivot and the rear axle to make painting and final assembly of the bike easier.

The chrome looked good on the sprue, but very visible seams were apparent on assembly, so I de-chromed most of the parts, and painted after assembly.

I know nothing about motorcycles, but I did a bit of research, and added a couple of the control cables in what I hope are correct positions. The cables are pieces of round-wound guitar string.

The kit comes with 4 sets of trim-paint decals, but this was the only set I could get to lay properly over the compound curves of the fuel tank and fenders, even with several applications of Micro-Sol.

Lovely bike, clean look ! Remembering me of my long time membership in a motorcycle club, riding across Europe to parties and events ...

Thanks guys! Andreas, I've never ridden on a motorcycle, but I like the aesthetic of some of them, especially those from the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
