Yes, Im quite happy. For an old kit, its quite good. I dont like the position of the stand tho.

But it is not Zed's chopper I hope...("Zed's dead, Honey, Zed's dead" - Bruce Willis 😉 ) Beautiful build!

Nice job on a ancient kit! I have vague (very) memories of building the same kit in my early teens. I am now 64 so that kit IS old! Well done!

Hi Peter, Someone told me on a facebook group that the original dated from the 60's, named Chopper Hog. Mine was from 1989 with new decals from Revell Germany. Its a good kit really, similar to tamiya's kit from the early 80's, but with less parts. There so much chrome tho, a bit of a pain to clean all those parts, especially at 1/8 scale.

A very fun and nice bike from Revell. Pretty old from the end of the 80's, so the decals are not the best or the most detailed. What I like with a chopper bike is that you can do whatever you like, you can add rust, weathering, choose whatever decals you want, customize it, etc. There is so much chrome parts for this particular model (even the tank!!!) that it would look like a plastic toy if you dont paint these parts. I choose to add some weathering (a bit of rust, dust mostly, oil stains) so the bike looks much more realistic. Its not a Tamiya kit, but the part fit well together (but not perfectly) and when finished it looks awesome, especially the engine parts. Its also pretty big.
