This 1/2 of the presented kit, building Ausf.A.
A very rich kit by Takom. You have ability to build Ausf. A and Ausf. B of Pz. I.
Very good quality and nice details in this kit. Very attractive instruction book. I like this kit. PE parts included as well as decal sheet for 8 variants. Recommended.

This kit presents Ausf. A version 3 with some field modifications, like - armored air intake and exhaust; smoke grenades

A layer of white Tamiya primer with few drops of black XF-1. It came as dark Panzer grey. But still this is a primer coat.

And it comes!! Mr. Panzer grey by Tamiya XF63 + few drops of XF1 and even a drop of blue XF8. The camo brown by XF64+XF1.
By the way in the painting instruction is misleading information. The panzer Dark grey (Dunkelgrau) is named as Olivgrun!!! Dont paint in Olivegreen 🙂
After camo dries it was a layer of gloss varnish and the decals came.

Final steps done. Few oil filters (grey and blue). Black wash. Weathering of painting with sponge and dark grey. As well some earth and dust.
Was surprised by quality and precision fit of the track parts. They are given in few parts. They do fit very precisely.

thanks Ben. some European dust was worth to apply. Some bits still are missing, but soon it will be over with this project. Very nice kit!! Recommended to each panzerphile 🙂

The tank looks really good, especially all that dust and other pigments. I really liked that all the surfaces look unevenly dirty, all the smaller spots and unevenness look very good, and what is more important for me, is that the scale feels very well. Looks extremely realistic.
Sveikinu!

The Panzer I ausf A project is over. This is lovely kit and even out of the box is great result. I did enjoy the build.
