Wow, that was an arduous build! Thanks for the link, it's been very inspiring, and made my admiration reach new levels. Is the rigging attached to the surface via printed turnbuckles?

Turnbuckles are not printed, I made one and copied in resin. Don't like the result much, will do differently next time.

I really loved the way the props looked but ... had repainted them grey after the photos were taken as in reality they were covered with linen and painted rather than just varnished. I also changed the flag from the White Ensign to Civil Aviation Ensign.

Yes I saw that in the build log. I might build a HP 42 next so the detail the propellers were grey, I will try to remember. Very nicely done!

I can say, however, that this modelling project was probably the most labour intensive of all I have ever taken.
David, I have HP42 in stash, both Contrail and OneMan, so I am thinking of kitbashing ... at some point ... maybe later ... much later ...

Elegant? C'mon, these flying suitcases are everything but elegant! Really elegant airliners of the era are the likes of Dewoitine 338, A.W. Ensign or any Italian trimotor, but I like them exactly for their bulkiness and ugliness 🙂
