I shortened the missiles on mine. I don't remember by how much, but a little, maybe hm, 3-4 mm.

I had difficulty using the rubber parts, so prepare for some fiddly stuff. Maybe an idea to heat them up just a little to make them bend more naturally, without ruining the rubber. I never tired that myself. Aah, and I think I remember now, there is some wiring that goes around the rubber parts as well.
