The general consensus says that there were no pink PR.Xs. So saving my PRU Pink for my FR.IXc. Going to do this build in all-over PRU Blue.
Separated the elevators from the horizontal stabilizers to be able to pose them deflected down.
Painted the interior with Humbrol 78, and given an Ammo By Mig Panel-Line Wash. Instrument panel was painted flat black, and the raised instrument details brought out by a silver Prismacolour Pencil.
Was in Toronto for a couple weeks for work, and forgot to bring my Humbrol 230 PRU Blue, so hit up a couple LHS. Only PRU Blue I could find was AK RC297 RAF PRU Blue. Thinned out 50/50 with Mr. Color Levelling Thinner.
Panel lines were highlighted by an artist ink pen - Cold Grey by Fabre-Castell Pitt Artist Pen

I really like PR Spitfires, there is something about the airframe and the clean look that compliments each other. I'm following this eagerly!

Seatbelt are included as decals. Not bad, but not a lot will be seen through the canopy anyway.
Decalling next. The kit includes stencils, but not sure how many were applied to the PR series.

The decals from the kit are… disappointing. Thick, slightly out of register and brittle - not a good combination.
Thankfully, I have a decent amount of decals in the stash! Removing the kit decals and replacing with stencils from Airfix and the roundels from Xtradecal.

Well crap…. Unmasked the canopy and found that glue had got under the masking of the main canopy.
So - my plan - using my CMK razor-saw, very carefully cut the rear and windscreen pieces off. Replace the center with a spare Italeri Mk.IX main canopy from the spares.

Ouch, I hate when that happens. Did you try to scrape the paint off with toothpick and apply Future with brush? Worked for me in the past.

I was hoping the Klear would allow the glue to chip off with a toothpick. No luck there.
Popped the canopy off - and thats why I always attach them with Humbrol Clearfix…. I sanded the glue-area first using a 1000 Grit sanding stick, followed by a 3000 Grit, then dipped in Klear again. First time I have tried that technique. Success!
Just have to repaint the canopy rails now.
