Thank you for the compliment, I usually build military subjects. Starting with a glossy black base and slowly building up the layers with darker shades. First time doing this so it's been a learning experience. Hopefully it will all work out.

Red Baron just came out of the paint shop. After I gave the Alclad gloss black a few days to cure, I followed up with Alclad Chrome, dry to the touch in less than an hour. The gloss black is really nice, goes on nice and smooth, already thinned for AB. However stays tacky 3-4 days. I still have 3/4's of a 4oz bottle.
I'm shooting for a non-traditional finish for this one

Back to the Bench, Red Baron out of the paint booth. All Testors 1/4oz bottles, 50/50 lacquer thinner.
Got all the elements finished with exception of one wheel that didn't play well with others and the front grill. Need to figure out some clever masking to get it where I want it.
Yes, that is a sound system that will be installed as well, sorta bringing an old kit into the 21st century.
