Certainly a very nice display piece when built I am sure. I have three of them. Two unbuilt. Any special ideas for building this kit of yours?

If you were to decide on drilling out all the drain holes on the hull, my suggestion is to think a little about this before starting in order to get the best result and with less annoyance depending on what method/tools you use. I started doing this using a Tamiya round file, I just gently pushed the tip intjammed and drilled with my hands, until the round file went through the plastic, and then I widened the hole to size, and then I dragged and rotated the round file to sand off the center part of the elongated holes.

Thank, actually I decided against drilling out. The effort is enormous while the effect is in my eyes marginal. Using black wash creates sufficient effect imho.
I build all of them of the display to place them side by side to give people at the exhibition an impression of size.
I have a Saturn V and some 1:144 planes to do that.
Explaining to people that up to 49 people lived for weeks in this coffin (if they survived) is quite a shock for some of them.
Having walked through a Type VII sevral times it felt crowed with 10 people inside ....
Thank you for the tip. Sure not my last one and maybe I do an shipyard scenes where this comes handy ..
