I built this beauty about 10 years ago, after seeing one flying at Oshkosh. I added some scatchbuilt interior upgrades as well as 500 lb. bombs and missiles. Wing walks are covered with Flexi-grit sandpaper. A determined tail-sitter, she is permanently mounted on a sturdy stand. One of my favorite builds!

Nice choice, David! I built it a few months ago. Turns into a fine model, I recommend using the resin engines by Quickboost. That is really improving. Be generous with the nose weight, better still to put some into the engines, too. Have fun!

If I were building her now, I would definitely use resin engines, but back when I did this project I had not yet begun to use resin after-market upgrades. The basics of this old kit though WERE very solid.
