Tanks in National Livery

My latest build is the first in a series of "National Tanks".

These will all be in 1:48 scale from Tamiya, Academy and even a Schendefu kit.

First up is the M1A2 in "Old Glory" livery.

The build was simple. The masking a bit more involved. Spent about 23 hours masking withe Tamiya 6mm tape. Highly recommend tape by the way..... it comforms very well. Minimal bleed under the tape edge.

Next up is the Challenger 2 wearing the Union Jack.

The Russian T90 and the Isreali Merkava 2 are built and primed.

The Canadian Leopard 2, German Leopard 2, Sweden's Stradswagn 103, and the French LeClerc are on the shelf to round out the series. I may add the Japenese Type 10 later on.
