I read really good reviews about this Modelsvit kit (and they are true!!!) and wanted to convert it into a Swiss AMIR. Sadly, I found out that the Modelsvit kit comes with the Doppler bulge and I didn't dare sand it off because of all the nice detail. When I saw the Syhart decals I knew what to do! So, I ordered them and they arrived yesterday. The plane was based in Nancy, which happens to be my girlfriend's name too, so I figured I will build this kit for her. It will be sometime this spring/summer though as I have to find time to finish other builds first.
Interesting feature is that this bird is painted in aluminum paint and isn't BNM.

Cool project, let's see what happens next!
& that really is some creativity employed to get a reason to build a kit😉 😄

Normally I never need a reason to build, it's what I like to do most. But in this case it was such a happy coincidence, I couldn't resist! 😄
